Grants are generally not approved for:

 

• Regular and ongoing operating support.

• Contingencies, deficits or debt reduction.

• Event fundraisers or sponsorships.

• Other private foundations.

Projects or organizations that are political or seek to influence legislation are not eligible.

We are much more likely to award a project-based grant than to simply join in contributing to a larger “pot of money” (e.g., a major fundraise or a capital campaign).
